Mariani Domus was established in the early 1970s, but with an important background behind it.

The company, in fact, dates back to the beginning of the 1900s where Mariani Luigi, a carpenter by profession, opened an old-style carpentry workshop in the porch of his home, where he learnt the trade and how to recognise each type of wood, since each wood was used for a different function (wood is a material that has always been present in the Mariani family).

The company has always been family-run, ever since the time of Mariani Luigi, and has always espoused the idea of ‘little, but good’: producing a few items, but with attention to detail and excellent materials.

Subsequently, with the arrival of consumerism in the 1960s and 1970s and the gradual conquest of the market by plastics, the company had to turn to more widely used materials in order to be more competitive within the sector. On the contrary, today we push as much as possible on the use of eco-sustainable and recyclable materials with the aim of improving the environment in which we live and our future.

Mariani Domus today is managed by Massimiliano Mariani, who has a degree in Interior design and Product design; with both a family and educational background always focused on furnishing, he has preserved all the experience handed down, bringing both progress and modernity.

What has always distinguished the Mariani family and company? The passion dedicated to work, to always give the best!
